SHALDON LOCAL AREA
The unspoilt seaside village of Shaldon is situated in South Devon on the Teign Estuary opposite the town of Teignmouth with its Grand Pier. It's rich with history, narrow streets and thatched roof cottages and connected to Teignmouth by the historic Shaldon Bridge or a passenger ferry which has been serving since the 13th Century.

Shaldon’s ruby red beach and green folds really is the perfect spot for your coastal getaway. The prominent cliff face that towers over Shaldon includes a smugglers tunnel giving access to the hidden beach Ness Cove.

TEIGNMOUTH
Shaldon's larger neighbour Teignmouth is just a short hop over the estuary by passenger ferry. Here you will find a Pier with archade, kids playground, crazy golf plus many shops and pubs to choose from.
TEIGN ESTUARY
The Teign Estuary is amongst one of the most picturesque in South Devon. Sit and view the stunning sunset just a few minutes walk from Seascape or at low tide enjoy a stroll to Shaldon beach.
